Managing Worry God's Way
Brothers and sisters in Christ let us learn to be victorious over worry by diligently applying the four lessons found in Philippians 4:6-13.
How Were They Converted?
An understanding of Acts chapter two would eliminate much of the error that now exists concerning conversion. To illustrate this point we will briefly consider the topic of salvation as presented in Acts2:37-47.
One Faith
The concept of “choosing the faith of your choice,” which is widely promoted and accepted among many who profess Christ, DOES NOT originate from the scriptures. The scriptures teach that there is one faith.
Confidence in Christ
The Christian can have confidence even though there are many uncertainties in life, knowing that all of an individual’s needs will be met by God through His Son and our Savior Jesus. “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
Let Us Be Prepared
Being prepared for the judgment should be of utmost importance for every person. Paul states, “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?--unless indeed you are disqualified.” (2nd Corinthians 13:5)
Four Lessons From Ezra
Ezra 7:10 states, “For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel.” We too, need to embrace the four principles of this verse.
Let us resolve to live for Christ just as Paul did.
Authority
Let us be diligent in our study and proper application of the scriptures, understanding that the scriptures are the only acceptable source of authority to follow.
